Charles Kenith Lee Miller, 17

Charles Kenith Lee Miller was born Oct. 21, 2006. He unfortunately passed away at the age of 17 on Sept. 26, 2024, at 4:44 a.m.

Charles was born at Providence Centralia hospital Oct. 21, 2006, to Julie Lee Miller and Gary Lee Miller. Charles went to Kootenai Elementary and the Sandpoint Middle School; soon after, he started attending LPOHS. This year, he started his senior year in school. While attending Sandpoint Middle School, Charles met a wonderful young woman named Syringa Bell. They met in the eighth grade and were together for three-and-a-half years.  

His hobbies were hanging out and fishing with his best friend Stuart Gillingham; their friendship began when Charles was in the second grade while 7 years old and Stuart was in the third grade at the age of 8. He also loved  tinkering with anything with eight cylinders, riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, kayaking, skateboarding and anything to help out others. He enjoyed cooking and barbecuing. Charles had a smile that could light up an entire room even if someone was having a rough time, he always seemed to make people smile. 

He had five siblings, Mindy Krauss, who is married to Jason Krauss; Brian Acosta, Tyler Burgess, who is engaged to Sheena Frymire; Billy Miller, who is currently incarcerated; and Bobby Miller, who is married to Hannah Miller, Charles also had two pets, his cat Opal whom he saved from an abandoned house; and a dog named Gizmo who bonded with him when he was six.

He will forever be missed as a son, brother and friend, we will always and forever keep him in our hearts.

Graveside services for Charles, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at Lakeview Cemetery. Viewing will be private for the family.
