Bonnie Lee McGhee, 82

Bonnie Lee McGhee, age 82, passed away Sept. 3, 2024, in Sandpoint, Idaho. 

Born on May 5, 1942, in Madison, Wisc. Bonnie dedicated her life to creating a loving home, filled with warmth and kindness, as a homemaker and housewife.

Christmas was Bonnie’s favorite time of year, a season she cherished for the joy of hosting family gatherings at her home. She delighted in the company of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren during these festive occasions. Bonnie also had a profound love for animals, embracing the company of cats, dogs, birds, and wildlife.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Robbie, Tony, and Rowdy Kucherry, and their families, including many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sisters, Diana Pressley and Jane Purkerson. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Violet Spaulding; her sister, Linda Abraham; her son, Michael Kucherry; and her soul mate, Kenny Blood.

In her leisure time, Bonnie was an avid artist and gardener. She initially enjoyed ceramics and later developed a passion for painting and creating various types of artwork. Her garden was a testament to her green thumb, featuring an array of shrubs, plants, and a pond with koi fish, which earned her home a spot in the Sandpoint Home and Garden Tour.

A private family gathering will be held to honor Bonnie’s life and legacy.

She will be missed and fondly remembered by all her friends and family.
