Initiative won't benefit Idaho, Republicans

Sus means suspect, for newspaper readers who may not be up on the current lingo.

Prop 1 advocates say there are a whole bunch of voters who don't get to vote. How is that? How can that be legal? It's actually not about who can vote, but how we vote. Currently, the Republican primary is closed. That means Republicans vote for a Republican to represent them in the general.

If Democrats want more power in Idaho, how about being a more inviting party? And while you're at it, why not try being honest about what you're doing and stop trying to trick Republicans into voting for something that will not benefit them?
