Representative Mark Sauter is effective and experienced.

These qualities make him the best choice to represent the interests and values of District 1.  

During the 2024 session, Representative Sauter distinguished himself as an effective representative because each of his bills was directly related to constituent concerns. Mark Sauter doesn't try to break records with needless bills that draw attention to him instead of helping his constituents.  

He just gets things done. Every one of the bills he carried in the 2024 session was signed into law by the Governor. That's being effective.

Representative Sauter is also experienced. He navigated a politically inspired minefield to ensure the successful passage of a bill (HB 645) that closed a loophole that would allow recalled school district trustees to engage in lame-duck sabotage. And for that, we in District 1 who support our local schools owe a debt of gratitude to Mark.

Experience is knowing how to navigate difficult issues and how to work across the aisle to get things done. Representative Sauter's track record is strong.
