Bombers named champions of annual SMS tennis tourney

The 'Bombers' took home the 17th annual Sandpoint Middle School inter-squad tennis tournament title held Oct. 9-10 at Travers Park. Front row, from left are Brennan Knobbs, Theo Janssen, Wyatt Winther, Annmarie Knobbs and Eva Janssen. Back row, from left are Irelyn Blaser, Zayda Ambauen, London Leavitt, Veronica Kramer, Levi Webb and Jacob Neff. Winther had the most inidvidual wins and was the tournament champion for the 'Bombers', which defeated the 'Rollers' 51-47. For his efforts, he received a Prince 6-racquet Tour-Team tennis bag.
