ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Ryleigh Bamer, Sandpoint swimming

This week's Athlete of the Week is Ryleigh Bamer of Sandpoint girls' swimming.

A senior, Ryleigh won the 100-meter butterfly (1:12.75) at Sandpoint's home dual on Friday, and then won the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.89) at an invitational held the following day at the Kroc Center. That same day, she also placed fourth out of 20 swimmers in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 29.96 seconds.
