‘Coats 4 Kids’ drive returns
SANDPOINT — A winterwear donation drive is back in town.
Coats 4 Kids aims to prepare North Idaho families for the coming months by equipping them with the necessary clothing to endure winter.
The initiative is accepting new or clean, gently used coats, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, and boots for all ages — infants to adults — through the month of October.
Donors can drop off clothing items during regular business hours at a number of local businesses, including STCU, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Goodwill, Safeway, Selkirk Association of Realtors, and Tomlinson Sotheby’s International Realty. Winterwear will be distributed throughout November or until the items run out.
Cash or check donations can be made to KXLY Community Partners Foundation and mailed or delivered to Tomlinson Sotheby's International Realty at 503 Cedar St. in Sandpoint. An online donation site is also available at KXLY.com/weather/coats4kids.
100% of cash or check donations will go to Coats 4 Kids.
