Mire commits to Lewis-Clark State College
Full caption: Sandpoint's Taylor Mire recently committed to continue her golf career at Lewis-Clark State College (NAIA) in Lewiston. Taylor was a four-time 4A/5A state qualifier and two-time 4A/5A Inland Empire League district champion. In three of her state championship appearances, she finished among the top 10 with a tied for seventh 12-over-par finish in 2022 (75-77), a fourth-place 17-over par finish in 2023 (82-79) and an eighth-place 13-over-par finish this year (79-84). At every regular season tournament this season she placed among the top five and recently shot an impressive even-par 73 to win the Lakeland Invitational at the Links Golf Club in Post Falls. Taylor will be joining the Lady Warriors, which compete in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and were recently ranked No. 23 in the nation according to the most recent NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll.
