It's time to bring back our doctors

Childbirth no longer happens at Bonner General Health in Sandpoint; Idaho's legislature has ruled that "a person in Idaho who performs an abortion may face 2-5 years of imprisonment." Now all our local OB/GYNs have left the state to practice elsewhere. Families must now travel out of state just to give birth.

Medical emergencies happen, often quickly; families might not have the time or the money to find proper medical care in another state.        

This makes second-class citizens of women, threatening their health and safety. Three bills that criminalize doctors for practicing evidence-based medicine, were passed in the 2024 legislative session. Karen's opponent voted for all three such bills. When did legislators become more informed about childbirth issues than doctors?
