Trio of SMS volleyball teams take home district titles
The Sandpoint Middle School 8th Grade A Team won the Region 1 district title after defeating Post Falls in the opening round, River City in the semifinals, and Woodland in the championship match. This year's team members included Ali Williams, Ali Gunter, Aria Lawson, Aspynn Duquette, Averi Mire, Avery Reif, Blaire Jenkins, Darby Rust, Evelyn Walker, Hailey Gion, Maggie Zimmerman, Stella Brown, Vivi Gunter and head coach Brooke Bessler.
