Classroom furniture giveaway announced

KI is offering K-12 educators a chance to transform their learning spaces through its third annual Classroom Furniture Giveaway, with four grand prizes valued at up to $40,000 each in KI furniture.

The company will award three prizes for individual classroom makeovers and dedicate the fourth prize to a library or media center transformation. This year's program welcomes submissions for all types of learning environments, including traditional classrooms, libraries, maker spaces, esports labs, and art or music rooms.

To enter, eligible educators must use KI's Classroom Planner tool to design their ideal learning space. Submissions require a detailed rendering of the proposed space and a brief explanation describing how the design reflects their teaching philosophy and meets student needs.

The contest runs Oct. 1-25. Eligible participants must be employed at a U.S. educational institution, work with grades pre-K through 12, and be at least 21 years old. Winners will be announced Nov. 20.

In addition to the main prizes, eight runners-up will each receive a set of 30 Ruckus whiteboards. KI plans to complete all installations between December 2024 and February 2025.
