Prop 1 is a scheme to split, toss our votes

| October 25, 2024 1:00 AM

Recently, a letter was printed that indicated a belief that Proposition 1 could reduce the polarization of our political parties. It's a naïve stance.

“Moderates” have:

• Claimed sex is assigned at birth

• Promoted antisemitism across the nation

• Allowed an old man with dementia to act as the leader of our country

• Placed the right to abort babies above all other issues of importance to our country

Those behaviors are polarizing. What else is polarizing? Ranked choice voting, which is a blatant attempt to split and toss out votes so individuals with the least support can be elected.

Vote no on Proposition 1, and vote to elect conservative candidates who believe in fiscal responsibility, small government, the right to bear arms, and a loving God:

• Ron Korn, running for Bonner County commissioner: District 3

• Brian Domke, running for Bonner County commissioner: District 1

• Cornel Rasor, running for State Representative: District 1B

• Dennis Engelhardt, running for Bonner County Assessor
