Monthly book sale nears

Tomatoes are ripening, days are shorter, school has started, and amid this flurry of activity, Sandpoint Friends of the Library are hosting their monthly used book sale Saturday, Sept. 7.

The monthly book sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sandpoint Library, 1407 Cedar St.

New donations have left the group with a great selection of children’s, juniors and young adult choices. Among the junior section is a large amount of nonfiction, which can supplement any schooling program. Sci-fi/fantasy books for most ages are also abundant.

Along with these sections, Sandpoint Friends of the Library have the usual fare of media, mysteries, nonfiction, fiction, etc. Also, there is a late Labor Day special for those who attend.
