Presidential candidates qualify for Idaho general election ballot
Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane announced the list of presidential candidates qualified for Idaho’s Nov. 5 general election ballot.
The following presidential candidates qualified to appear on the ballot:
Republican: Donald J. Trump, J.D. Vance (vice president)
Democratic: Kamala D. Harris, Tim Walz (vice president)
Constitution: Joel Skousen, Rik Combs (vice president)
Libertarian: Chase Oliver, Mike ter Maat (vice president)
Independent:
- Shiva Ayyadurai, Crystal Ellis (vice president)
- Claudia De la Cruz, Karina Garcia (vice president)
- Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Nicole Shanahan (vice president)
- Jill Stein, Samson Kpadenou (vice president)
- Randall Terry, Stephen Broden (vice president)
Kennedy suspended his campaign in August and endorsed Trump. At that time, Kennedy said he would try to get his name removed from ballots in battleground states but intends to remain on ballots in states where votes for him are unlikely to sway the election’s outcome.
Partisan candidates may withdraw from the ballot through Friday, according to the Idaho Secretary of State’s Office, while nonpartisan candidates may withdraw through Sept. 20.
