Southside Elementary School teacher Tracey Karst is challenging young minds with her project-based learning activities and focus on Science Technology Engineering Art and Math projects. Her third-grade students completed a critical thinking activity with the goal of Saving Fred, a worm who doesn't know how to swim who is stuck on top of his boat and his life preserver is inside his boat!
