Local siblings capture gold at Snow Ghost Banked Slalom
Sandpoint's Trennon Scherr, 13, and Ever “Sissy” Scherr, 9, both placed first in their respective age groups at the Snow Ghost Banked Slalom held this past Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30 at Schweitzer. Trennon, who enjoys deep powder skiing and building jumps, won the Amateur Ski Boys Division (13-17 years old) while Sissy, who has won every race she has competed in this season, won the Groms Ski Girls Division (6-12 years old).
