ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Bailey Lancaster, Sandpoint Softball

This week's Athlete of the Week is Bailey Lancaster of Sandpoint Softball.

A senior, Bailey, who primarily plays first base, was 4-for-4 at the plate with two singles, two doubles and four RBI in the Lady Bulldogs' recent 9-8 5A Inland Empire League win over Lakeland — their first over the Lady Hawks since 2021 and first league win since 2022. She had an RBI single in the first inning and RBI doubles in both the fourth and sixth innings to keep Sandpoint in the game.
