Michael 'Mick' Arthur Reina, 66
Michael “Mick” Arthur Reina of Sagle, Idaho, age 66, went home to our Lord on Friday, March 28, 2025.
Mick was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on Aug. 26, 1958, to Carol Ann (Johnson) and Arthur “Bud” David Reina. In 1964, his family moved to southwest Oregon. Mick graduated from Gold Beach High School and earned an associate degree from Linn Benton Community College.
Mick was an industrious, hard worker who loved the outdoors and who truly loved people and his Lord. Family and friends meant the world to Mick. When Mick moved to Idaho, he worked as a chimney sweep and spent summers as a commercial fisherman at Bristol Bay, Alaska. Later, he established All Clear Home Inspections and snow plowing, which blessed him with close and valued personal relationships throughout the Sandpoint community.
Favorite hobbies included flying his Piper Cherokee 140 and boating on Lake Pend Oreille in his many boats.
Mick and former spouse, Betty Hurley, raised four children together who they adored: Kersten McDonald, Kyla Hurley, Michelle Reina, and Emily Reina. Mick married his current spouse, LeDette Kelton Reina, in 2018 and added three children to Mick’s life: Mattie Kelton, Mariah Pan, and Marisa Kelton, making a total of seven daughters for Mick.
Mick is survived by his adoring wife; his seven daughters and their significant others; grandchildren Jordan, Jacob, Jasper, Madisyn, Jack, and Hailee; great-grandchildren Oliver, Sullivan, Samson, and Emersyn; beloved siblings Deborah, Daniel, and Thomas; and 12 nieces and nine nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings David and Michael, and nephew Ryan.
The public is welcome to a celebration of life at Cocolalla Bible Church on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 2 p.m. Donations in Mick’s memory can be made to Compassion International or a charity of your choice.
