Morgann Swansen, 11
Morgann Kayla Swansen, 11, of Sandpoint, Idaho, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, April 3, 2025, surrounded by her parents, family, and loved ones.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Cedar Hills Church with Pastor Eric Rust officiating.
Morgann was born Feb. 9, 2014, in Sandpoint, Idaho. She enjoyed her cartoons and afternoons on the back porch the most. She spent her whole life gracefully battling her disabilities until she couldn’t fight anymore. She was welcomed into the arms of Jesus and her big brother, Garrett, who were both patiently waiting for her in Heaven.
Everyone who met Morgann was better off for it. Despite this tragic loss, the memories left behind are many and will be cherished forever.
Although she did not have a voice, she spoke to all our hearts and will continue to live on with us forever, until we meet again. The smiles and giggles that she gave to her dad every time he walked into the room will never be forgotten.
Morgann is survived by her father, Kaleb Voigt; mother Attea Voigt; sisters Hailey Swansen and Hailey Kedish; brothers Justin and Bradley Kedish; and her maternal grandparents, David and Vivian Swansen. Morgann is also survived by the best caregiver and adopted grandma she could ever ask for, Lorri Alcorn.
Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint is handling the arrangements. Please visit Morgann’s online memorial at lakeviewfuneral.com and sign her guest book.
