Airport to hold open house

SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint airport will hold an open house on April 16 regarding a planned obstruction removal project.  

Community members are invited to attend the airport’s open house from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Granite Aviation to learn about an obstruction removal project that will result in trees being cut down near the Sandpoint runway.  

The removal project is expected to start in Sept. 2025 and will impact traffic along Boyer Avenue.
