NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Sandpoint Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at their meeting on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in Council chambers at City Hall, 1123 W. Lake St., Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following: City initiated Sandpoint City Code amendment to sections 10-2-3-D and 7-3-10-H related to subdivision public infrastructure requirements for frontage improvements on newly created lots greater than one (1) acre and related to allowing payment of in-lieu fees for sidewalks for lots created by short plats. Seating in Council chambers is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The overflow areas outside chambers will accommodate additional attendance, with live meeting video and audio provided. For public hearings/public comment periods, those who may not be able to be seated within chambers will be allowed entrance to the room and given the opportunity to speak from the podium. The applicant is requesting a zone change from Rural 10 to Rural 5. The 20-acre property is zoned Rural 10. The project site is located off Hunter Road in Section 17, Township 54 North, Range 05 West, Boise-Meridian. At their January 16, 2025 hearing, the Zoning Commission recommended approval of this project to the Board of County Commissioners.
