Kenneth Arthur Jones, 73

In loving memory of Kenneth Arthur Jones.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Kenneth A. Jones, who left us Jan. 23, 2025, at the age of 73, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. 

Ken was born April 9, 1951, in Renton, Wash. Growing up in Redmond, Wash., he spent his childhood surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly.

After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, completed a tour in Vietnam, was honorably discharged, and was forever a proud combat veteran.

Prior to his retirement in Moyie Springs, Ken was known for his unwavering work ethic with Boyles Brothers Drilling Company. 

Ken is survived by his loving sons, Kyle and Kody, of Moyie Springs, and Kenneth (Jeanette) of Sandpoint; their children, Cristopher and Issabell, of Sandpoint; his life partner, Wendy Jones, of Moyie Springs; his chosen brother, Rick MacIntyre, of Sandpoint; sister-in-law Debbie Jones of Hayden; and his sister, Mary Reader (Doyle), of Sandpoint. 

He is predeceased by his parents, Ken and Doris; and his brothers, Bob and Scott. His family will miss him dearly. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date this next summer.
