Moms in Prayer conference announced
Moms in Prayer is holding a conference in North Idaho on March 22.
The international, nondenominational Christian ministry gathers moms together weekly to pray for their children and local schools. There are more than 12 groups meeting weekly in North Idaho. The North Idaho conference is one of four being held this year by the group.
All women in the region are invited to attend.
Amy Potts, Moms in Prayer coordinator for North Idaho, said the conference will be a day of retreat and refreshment, including worship, inspirational speakers, and an opportunity for women to connect.
“When women gather together, something special happens," she said. "You see that there are a lot of people who want to support you and pray for your children. Instead of being alone in your worries, you’re united with other women of faith.”
The Victorious Northwest conference will be held at Lake City Church on March 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Speakers include Sally Burke, Moms in Prayer president, and Cathi Armitage, Moms in Prayer global ministry director. The cost is $22, which includes lunch. To register, visit momsinprayer.org/events/victorious-northwest.
