SAR accepting grant applications

| February 21, 2025 1:00 AM

The Selkirk Association of Realtors is accepting applications for grant awards to be given in June. Applications for funding this year must be received at the SAR office by April 18.

Each year, the association gives thousands of dollars to local groups in need of funding for their community service-oriented projects and programs in Bonner and Boundary counties. Last year, local real estate officials awarded more than $29,000 to individuals and groups in Bonner and Boundary counties.

The Selkirk Association of Realtors is a not-for-profit organization whose membership consists of real estate officials, appraisers, banks, title companies and other businesses affiliated with the real estate profession. Grant funds are raised among SAR members only through the association’s annual fundraising efforts.

To obtain a grant application, contact the association office at 208-265-2227, go online to selkirkaor.com, email Stephanie Rief at stephanie@selkirkaor.com, or stop by the SAR office at 325 S. Marion Ave., Sandpoint.

To qualify for a grant, groups or organizations must work primarily for the benefit residents in Bonner or Boundary counties and benefit a large group of people as opposed to an individual. Projects that relate to housing issues are strongly encouraged. Groups in all cities and/or areas of Bonner and Boundary counties are encouraged to seek funding for their projects or issues.

If you need additional information, please contact the Selkirk Association of Realtors at 208-265-2227.
