Sandpoint Future 3rd grade girls secure bronze at Hooptown Championship
The Sandpoint Future 3rd grade girls travel basketball team fought to a third-place finish at the 2025 Hooptown Championships tournament held this past Saturday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, Feb. 23 in Spokane, Spokane Valley and Liberty Lake. The girls went 2-2 in what was their final tournament of the 2024-2025 season, defeating the Spokane Nets (24-17) and the Storm (40-14). Coach Karly Malone said their dedication to team basketball was on full display with everyone scoring points and securing rebounds throughout the tournament.
