Free GED classes available in Sandpoint
SANDPOINT — GED classes are open for enrollment and instruction at the North Idaho College Adult Education Center in Sandpoint.
All tuition and instructional materials are free, with new student orientation and placement testing occur daily without an appointment.
Students can receive full instruction, ask questions and work with an instructor without having to sit in lectures or a formal class setting. Students work independently at their own pace on the subjects they need to focus on.
Classes are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Class times are flexible, and there are no penalties for tardiness, leaving classes early, or non-attendance.
Classes are taught by NIC Adult Education Center Instructor Tabitha Stoops, a Sandpoint resident with over 10 years of experience helping adults and teens, 16 and older, earn a GED certificate.
