Road limits in effect in county
SANDPOINT — Road weight limits are in effect on a number of roads in Bonner County.
As a result, no early morning hauling is allowed on any Bonner County maintained road that is posted with weight limits.
District 1 (south of the Long Bridge) — All roads in the district are posted with weight limits. As a reminder, red flags indicate restrictions are in effect.
District 2 (Priest River/Priest Lake) — All roads in the district were posted with weight limits on Tuesday, March 4. In addition, the section of Eastshore Road between Indian Creek Park Road and Canoe Point Road is posted as no hauling. This means the road is only open to regular, residential traffic and that no trailers or loaded truck beds are allowed.
District 3 (Sandpoint/Clark Fork) — All roads in the district are posted with weight limits. In addition, French Road is posted as no hauling.
Per county ordinance, it is the responsibility of the hauler to contact the Bonner County Road & Bridge Department to determine whether or not these restrictions are in place. The restrictions will remain in effect until changed, at which time updates will be posted.
