IDE to hold bus art contest

The Idaho Department of Education is seeking student-submitted artwork that depicts and encourages school bus safety through the Idaho School Bus Safety Week Poster Contest. 

Students grades K-12 are eligible to enter the competition; the 2024-2025 theme is “Safety First — Safety Always.” 

The winning students from each of the contest’s five divisions will be invited to receive an award at the Summer 2025 Student Transportation Training Conference in Boise. Each winner will receive a $25 gift card for art supplies. One overall winner will receive a plaque, a $50 gift card and an entry to the National Association of Pupil Transportation contest. 

All posters must be mailed to the Idaho Department of Education, Attn: Ali Stolzman, P.O. Box 83720, Boise, ID. The deadline for submission is April 18.
