FARRAGUT INSPECTION ON APRIL 5
The Portland, Ore. district engineer’s office notified the Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce that investigators will be here April 5 to inspect the former Farragut naval base as a possible site for location of a proposed army air force academy. The site is the only one in Idaho suggested as a location for the academy, which would parallel the army’s West Point and the navy’s Annapolis.
