Trump's action could spell end of democracy
Trump and his minions, both in the White House and Republicans in Congress, are rapidly and nearly converting our democratic government into an authoritarian one or a dictatorship, as he said he would do on Day One.
Nearly 700,000 Americans have died in wars since World War II trying to preserve democracy and our way of life. Trump is, before our very eyes, about to ignore court orders. If he does, he will be declaring the end of democracy in America. All of your ancestors, husbands, wives and children and friends who have died for their country will have died in vain if our democracy is lost.
If Trump will not abide by the courts this country will devolve into chaos and quite possibly civil war. Those who supported Trump and did so at the ballot box will have much to answer for to the rest of us.
The vast majority of the country does not support what Trump, and Elon Musk, are trying to do and are doing to the country. Threatening to make our strongest ally, Canada, part of the U.S., and threatening to take over Greenland and the Panama Canal by force if necessary is so abhorrent that his threats should resoundingly be opposed by every American citizen. Threatening acts of war against other countries should anger every American. Trump took an oath to uphold the Constitution on January 20, 2025, and he is about to defy it. If he does, he should be impeached as quickly as possible and the Senate should vote to remove him from office immediately, by force if necessary. JD Vance will have gotten the message by then.
Trump and Musk are a cancer on this country and America needs to determine the best way of treating it.
