Quilt guild continues scholarship program

The Panhandle Piecemakers Quilt Guild is accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship program awards. Completed applications and all accompanying data must be received by the April 10 deadline. Two $500 scholarships are being offered this year.

Those who may apply include any graduating high school or home-schooled senior whose primary residence is in Bonner County, provided she or he meets the guild’s established requirements. Requirements include a GPA of 3.0 or higher while carrying a full course load per semester, submission of the application on or before April 10, along with two current letters of recommendation. 

The scholarship recipients will be announced May 21 and awarded on or before Aug. 15, upon proof of college enrollment in the fall semester. 

Application forms may be obtained from any Bonner County High School counseling office, or by written request to the Guild’s address, PO Box 30, Sandpoint, ID 83864.
