A 1920 carousel was released from its 64-year slumber Saturday by its new owners, Clay and Reno Hutchison, at the Sandpoint Granary Warehouse where about 150 people showed up to see the old machine with its hand-carved wooden horses, which after restoration, will find a home in Sandpoint.

Community gets first look at classic ride
SANDPOINT — Cheers filled the Sandpoint Granary Warehouse Saturday as the doors to two vintage cargo trailers were opened, releasing 36 horses from a 64-year slumber.
