Former Wampus Cat hoopster Mike Martin, now a seasoned basketball and football official in the North Idaho Association, gives a fist bump to current Wampus Cat Hunter Boudousquie before a league game recently. It seems like just yesterday that Martin, who excelled at football, basketball and tennis as a student at Clark Fork, was lighting up North Star League scoreboards. Martin, who was the North Star League Most Valuable Player as a quarterback a decade ago, was honored recently as Sophomore of the Year by the North Idaho Football Officials Association, which covers the five northern counties of Idaho. Martin is one of a handful of current high school sports officials with Clark Fork ties.
