These Washington Elementary fifth graders proved potatoes are more than just food during the school science fair. All fifth- and sixth-grade students participated and the judging was done by ninth and tenth graders from Sandpoint High School. Science fair projects covered a wide range of topics from the mysteries kaleidoscopes to paper airplane flight and elephant toothpaste. Parents, friends, and fellow students were invited to view the exhibits and question the participants about their experiments and results.
