(Courtesy photo) Fifth- and sixth-grade students participated in the Washington Elementary science fair Thursday, and the judging was done by ninth and tenth graders from Sandpoint High School. Science fair projects covered a wide range of topics from the mysteries kaleidoscopes to paper airplane flight and elephant toothpaste. Parents, friends, and fellow students were invited to view the exhibits and question the participants about their experiments and results.
