Sandpoint junior Dylan Baillie and the Bulldog boys and girls soccer teams will kick off the 2017 fall sports season today as four area high school boys and girls soccer teams will play 40-minute “games” as part of a Youth Endowment for Activities jamboree today at Lake City High’s Irma Anderl Soccer Complex. Boys teams will play on one field, girls on the other. The schedule for both boys and girls is: 2 p.m., Lake City vs. Sandpoint; 2:50, Coeur d’Alene vs. Sandpoint; 3:40, Lake City vs. Post Falls; and 4:30, Coeur d’Alene vs. Post Falls. Admission will be charged, and as the event is a fundraiser. The Bulldog boys open their season when they play host to the 5A Lewiston Bengals on Friday, at 4:30 p.m. at Pine St. Field. The Bulldog girls will host Coeur d’Alene on Saturday at noon in their season opener. An in-depth season preview for all of the Sandpoint and Clark Fork fall sports teams will run in the Bee on Friday, Aug. 25.
