Sandpoint High School cheerleaders served as mentors while teaching jumps in the debut season for the SAFL youth cheer, as the excitement was heard from across the field. Youth cheerleaders squads from 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade were already in formations and you could hear “Go Bulldogs Go” from the loud little voices. Director of Coaching, Sara Garrison, was humbled by the support of not only the SHS cheer team, but also the SHS dance team and parents who were willing to offer assistance. “The community coming together to support these cheerleaders is our why,” said Garrison.
