The North Idaho Lakers 16U team fell to the Coeur d’Alene U14 team in their season opener on Friday. Paden Lish (pictured), Kody MacDonald and Zach Leverich each had a hit in the game. Jack Ringer pitched two solid innings and Dillon Terry caught four innings behind the plate. The Lakers next game is at Moscow at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
