On Saturday, Jan. 20, Sandpoint's Katia Tadic won the Elks Hoop Shoot District Championship held in Kellogg. In order to advance to Saturday's compeititon, she won the local Sandpoint Elks Hoop Shoot back on Nov. 18. Tadic, who competes in the girls 8-9 age category, advances to the state championship which will be held Feb. 3 in Blackfoot.
