A youngster charges ahead of a Sandpoint Police officer leading the children's parade. The event kicked off the Sandpoint Lions Fourth of July fun in downtown Sandpoint. The pair of parades packed the downtown as the more-than-hour-long Grand Parade and the shorter children's parade saw thousands of people pack the downtown core.
