The Sandpoint Future fourth grade girls basketball team placed fifth out of 24 teams at the Washington Middle School State Basketball Championships held Mar. 8-10 at The Podium in Spokane. All teams had to qualify for this tourney by winning or placing runner-up in select qualifying tournaments throughout the season. Sandpoint went 3-1 en route to their fifth-place finish.
