Sandpoint sophomore Jetta Thaete was one of three Bulldogs who competed in the javelin throw this past Friday at the Lewiston Invitational — the first time girls from Sandpoint High ever competed in the event. Thaete finished second out of 22 competitors with a throw of 101 feet and eight inches, a mark that currently ranks first in Idaho’s 4A classification.
