The Sandpoint High dance team showcased their incredible talent and hard work by securing top positions in multiple categories at the Cupid Classic Dance Competition held this past Saturday, Feb. 8 at Post Falls High. The team proudly took first place in both military and hip-hop and earned a commendable third place in the dance category. Next up is the district championship, which is set to be held this upcoming Saturday, Feb. 15 at Coeur d’Alene High, starting at 4 p.m. The team is diligently preparing four routines for the competition. Their goal? To clinch a spot in the state championship, which will be held Saturday, Mar. 1 at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa. Coach Frances Clark said that with their recent successes, the team is more motivated than ever.
