Bill restricting absentee ballots sent out for possible amendments
A bill that would place restrictions on who could apply for an absentee ballot in Idaho was sent out for possible amendments Wednesday after members of the public and several state and county elections officials came out against the bill. Only voters who would be out of their jurisdiction, or have an illness or disability, would be able to request absentee ballots for elections under House Bill 667

Fugitive found deceased in Athol home
Late last month, the U.S. Marshals Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force located 50-year-old Todd Andrew Miller dead in a residence off Kelso Lake Road in Athol following the issuance of arrest warrants from two North Idaho counties.
