North Idaho College student Samantha Little worked in home health for years but said she was ready for something more. Like many looking for a new start, Little looked to enroll in college and pursue a new career path.
AARP Foundation offers free tax preparation help
Now until the end of tax season, AARP Foundation is once again providing free tax preparation assistance across Idaho through its Tax-Aide program. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation's largest volunteer-based free tax preparation service. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service, and all Tax-Aide volunteers are IRS-certified.

Lively debate as bill stirs up emotions
There have been lively debates in the House of Representatives, both on the House floor and in committee, as multiple bills have been stirring up emotions this week. On Monday the House debated for House Bill 406, sponsored by Rep. Ted Hill, R-Eagle, and Rep. Chris Allgood, R-Caldwell. The proposed legislation adds fentanyl to the category of drugs that carry a mandatory minimum sentence as well as a life sentence and a $25,000 fine for those found guilty of drug-induced homicide.
