2020 PBS KIDS writers contest set
For the 26th year, Idaho Public Television is hosting the PBS KIDS Writers Contest. IdahoPTV’s three regional stations — KUID/Moscow, KISU/Pocatello and KAID/Boise — encourage children in kindergarten through third grade to write and illustrate their own imaginative story and submit it by Saturday, March 21, for a chance to win prizes and have their work published online.

This is in regaurd to Angelo Lonzisero’s letter in the March 5 Daily Bee. In his letter he stated that 60 percent of Idaho’s budget goes toward education. If you go to dfm.idaho.gov, you will find this is a gross misrepresentation of the actual numbers.
Health care exchange is important
Our legislators need our feedback in order to support Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter and vote in favor of creating a state-based health insurance exchange. There are many reasons for Idaho to design a state-based exchange rather than allowing the federal exchange to be established in Idaho.
