Idaho Supreme Court Justices point to conflicting language in abortion laws
A hearing at the Idaho Supreme Court regarding two of the state’s abortion laws seemed to create more questions than it answered, as justices highlighted confusion over criminal penalties and civil enforcement guidelines across three separate statutes. The court is expected to issue a ruling in the coming days that will determine whether the laws will go into effect later this month and whether the cases will be consolidated or transferred to a lower court for further review.

REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT 2015 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) for Idaho's HUD-CPD Affordable Housing and Community Development Programs Idaho Housing and Finance Association and the Idaho Department of Commerce (IDC) are the State Grantees for the following HUD-CPD programs: Emergency Solutions Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships, Community Development Block Grant and the Federal Housing Trust Fund. Grantees are drafting an annual evaluation report for these programs and seek input from the public and private sector, including state, regional, and local agencies/ organizations. MINUTES FOR THE BONNER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS' MEETING March 19, 2019 ROAD & BRIDGE Approved the 2019 Road Restrictions by Resolution #19-38. Awarded the 2019 Liquid Asphalt Contract for HFE-150, CRS-2, and CMS-2P oil grades to Idaho Asphalt Supply, Inc. for the unit prices listed on their Bid Submittal Form for a total amount of $724,650.00. Authorized the Board Chairman to sign the Notice of Award administratively. TECHNOLOGY Approved and signed the software as a service agreement with Tyler Technologies, Inc. RECREATION Approved the Memorandum of Understanding between the State of Idaho, Department of Lands and Bonner County for the cooperation in the removal of piling and booms. Approved the Recreation Department's request to move forward with the process to permit Buds Gourmet Hot Dogs to operate a concession stand at Garfield Bay Park. BOISE — Idaho is consistently one of the states with the highest reported rates of suicide. In 2017 the CDC reported suicide as Idaho’s 8th leading cause of death, climbing from 10th place in 2013. Nationally, Idaho’s rate of suicide is 58 percent higher than the US average. Growing from a rate of 14.7 to 22.9 deaths per 100,000 persons since 2001 according to the Idaho Health & Welfare’s January 2019 fact sheet.
