Severing of aid is moral, geopolitical mistake
On March 10, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that “based on individual review,” 83% of 13,000 contracts under USAID (Agency for International Development) would be cut (apnews.com). It seems highly unlikely that these contracts were individually reviewed, and I am deeply concerned about the devastating impact these arbitrary cuts will have on vulnerable populations worldwide.

Experts say sleep needs vary by age, person
Most people spend a third of their lives sleeping, but you may need more or less than eight hours a night. The amount of sleep we need changes throughout our lives. Experts say when you're trying to figure out how much sleep you need, it's important to listen to your body. Most of the population gets between seven to nine hours — and that particular category has the lowest association with health problems. If you're getting the recommended amount of sleep every night but you're still waking up feeling tired, that can be a sign to get checked out by a professional.

That prompted Ontario on Tuesday to back down on its planned surcharges on electricity sold to the United States.

Trump's actions are a disgrace to Ukraine's bravery
I find it very difficult to understand why President Donald Trump has sold out Ukraine. Is the U.S. going to abandon our support for democratic countries and instead ally ourselves with dictators like Vladimir Putin and reward him for invading a sovereign nation? Or are we going to act like the old colonial powers and divide up the spoils of Ukraine’s mineral wealth with Russia?

Early in Trump's remarks, sustained and repeated interruptions came from the Democratic side, and Texas Rep. Al Green was ejected from the House chamber after heckling Trump.
