The consequences of banning oil seem unimportant to those activists who dwell on the dangers of oil trains. Though there is indeed a danger, so there was danger when the settlers left the cities in the east and travelled west, even to Idaho. The goal was to overcome the fear to create a better life. Of course, they carried with them many of the comforts they knew and improvised as they went along. Now we are faced with an element that finds faults without producing solutions. It is worth listing some of the benefits from petroleum which now seem taken for granted. The fault finders might even be enjoying them.

Government treats states like colonies

The Constitution of the United States defines the delicate dance of power between the federal government, and the several states who comprise the union. The strength of our union coming from individual states, joined together in a common purpose, yet separate in identity. Each state was sworn to uphold the overarching interests held in common with the others, yet expressing the character and desires of the population within each individual state’s borders as it saw fit. The Ninth and Tenth Amendments were added to the Constitution for the express purpose of allaying the fears of a large, centralized government that would harm the rights of the states and their citizens.

(NAPSI)—Shirley Goodman, a 60-year-old mother and grandmother from Jacksonville, Florida, recently experienced a “warning stroke” called a transient ischemic attack that was diagnosed through a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan. She has also suffered from heart problems for years. To address her heart condition, her doctor recommended an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) to continuously monitor her heart rate and deliver an electrical shock to correct a life-threatening heart rhythm, if needed. Given her history, there was a high likelihood that she would need another MRI in the future.
