Before long it became clear he was battling a serious illness, but it wasn’t until 2015 that he was diagnosed with Lyme disease along with multiple co-infections. Since then, his health has been a roller coaster of ups and downs. Now, a Go Fund Me has been set up to try and help him and his family.

The WSU Master Gardeners are offering a live internet class called “Seed Starting,” on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The class will be taught by Master Gardeners Vicki Green and Dixie Chichester. In this class you’ll learn to decide whether to start your own seeds, choose a soil mix and containers, create a planting calendar, sow your seeds, and how to care for your new seedlings. The class fee is $5 and can be paid by check or money order.
